THIS AUDITION FORM IS FOR Pre-College ONLY

 

ENROLLMENT:

Pre-College is a Conservatory Preparatory program at Opus119. It is highly competitive and selective in its enrollment procedure. All applicants must submit a pre-screening audition recording before they can audition for the pre-college program.

ELIGIBILITY:

Recommended for middle school students and up

PRE-SCREENING AUDITION:

An online recording link must be submitted. (YouTube, Youku, etc)

AUDITION REQUIREMENTS:

Pre-screening repertoire: One piece from the Baroque or Classical Period and one Romantic, Impressionistic or 20th Century piece. Live audition repertoire: Same as above • 2 contrasting pieces (Can be different from the pre-screening repertoire) • An interview session with the candidate and parents.

*All auditions must be performed for memory.

AUDITION FEE:

A $100 fee will be incurred for applicants invited for live auditions and interviews.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE:

• Submit an online application form along with a YouTube link for the pre-screening audition 

The applicant will be emailed about their eligibility to interview/audition live at Opus119. If invited for a live audition/interview, please submit a check for $60 payable to Opus119. The applicant’s audition will not be scheduled until the payment is received.
