Dr. Bella Tseng

Dr. Bella Tseng is one of the most highly regarded pianists and violinist of her generation. She has performed throughout the United States for solo, chamber, and collaborative recitals. As a recipient of various scholarships and competitions prizes, she successfully guides her students through music study at Opus119. Her students has been the All Southern California Honor Orchestra's concertmaster, CM Panel Honors, 1st Prizes of Bach Complete Works and were accepted to Harvard, Stanford, Cornell, Brown as well as many other prestigious universities.
Dr. Tseng received dual performance degrees in violin and piano from State University of New York-Purchase College and University of Southern California. Her understanding of both instruments have made her a highly sought after partner for chamber music and recitals by many of the outstanding string players of today. She studied violin with the Los Angeles Philharmonic’s Concertmaster - Martin Chalifour and piano with pianist Norman Krieger.
Prior to joining Opus119 in 2005, Dr. Tseng has served as an assistant lecturer in keyboard studies department at University of Southern Califonia. She currently serves as the MTAC State Certificate of Merit Council, Strings evaluator coordinator of the Southern California well s board member of Music Teachers’ Association of California’s Irvine branch.
